This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture relationships with employers, staffing agencies, and talent partners who are recruiting graduates, particularly in cybersecurity, IT, cleared, and GovCon sectors.

• Identify and disseminate current job openings that align with our graduates' skill sets.

• Connect qualified graduates with positions that align with their skills and career aspirations.

• Guide students and alumni on resume writing, interview techniques, and personal branding strategies.

• Collaborate with the Professional Development Manager to evaluate career-readiness deliverables.

• Represent NPower SkillBridge at career fairs, hiring events, and industry gatherings throughout the region.

• Maintain records of placements, employer contacts, and outcomes in Salesforce.

• Spot business development opportunities for referral to the business development team.

• Report directly to the SkillBridge Operations Director.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three years of experience in workforce development, career services, business development, or employer relations with a focus on job placement.

• Proven experience in forming employer or community partnerships that successfully connect individuals to job opportunities in a performance-oriented environment.

• Experience in coaching or placing active-duty service members, veterans, or military-connected individuals.

• Strong and effective communication skills.

• Highly organized and proficient with CRM tools, ideally Salesforce and LinkedIn.

• Must live in the San Diego area and operate on Pacific Time.

• Willingness and ability to travel as required.

• Capability to acquire and maintain necessary U.S. military installation access credentials and clearance.

• Must fulfill applicable military installation eligibility criteria and adhere to security and access protocols.
