This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain precise and updated participant information across various electronic databases, including logs for supportive services.
• Provide case management for SNAP E&T participants who are gearing up for employment and self-sufficiency.
• Manage caseloads while assisting job seekers in retaining their employment.
• Create and revise plans, monitoring progress towards established goals.
• Schedule and facilitate workshops, webinars, and activities focused on job readiness.
• Coordinate online learning initiatives in collaboration with the Business Services team.
• Administer pre/post-test assessments to evaluate skills, aptitudes, and abilities.
• Conduct research and provide job coaching, mentorship, and support services to help overcome barriers.
• Prepare participants for training sessions and customize case management based on employer feedback.
• Collaborate with businesses, advisory groups, agencies, and community organizations to create opportunities.
• Research and disseminate information on post-secondary options and adult services.
• Build rapport with participants to discuss career options and interests.
• Motivate participants to maintain career portfolios that document their learning and skill acquisition.
• Work independently or in groups to address employment-related challenges.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Associate’s degree in a related field with a minimum of two years of relevant work experience, or a satisfactory combination of education and experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with three years of related experience may be considered.
• Strong skills in facilitation, public speaking, and guided learning.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Capacity to lead learning processes and connect with diverse populations.
• Outstanding internal and external customer service skills.
• Proficient communication skills and knowledge of community resources and local industries is advantageous.
• Excellent computer proficiency with experience in Microsoft Office, MS Word, Excel, and specialized databases and systems.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
• A current valid driver's license with a low-risk driver rating and automobile liability insurance is required.
• Must be a resident of New Mexico.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time during business hours; no weekend travel required.
