πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Ensure operational readiness in a dynamic contact center environment that supports military spouses.

β€’ Handle initial calls from military spouses through live handoff utilizing call center technology.

β€’ Manage incoming live chats from military spouses.

β€’ Evaluate the needs of military spouses and offer tailored, Government-approved resources.

β€’ Deliver education and career counseling.

β€’ Suggest online and distance learning and training options.

β€’ Inform military spouses about available financial assistance resources.

β€’ Help spouses comprehend federal, state, and local occupational licensing requirements.

β€’ Provide credentialing details for specific career fields.

β€’ Organize career coaching appointments.

β€’ Troubleshoot access issues related to SECO program websites.

β€’ Assist in the management of a Department of Defense military spouse scholarship program.

β€’ Maintain the government-issued case management system, including spouse profiles and scholarship accounts.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Applicants must live in the United States.

β€’ A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in providing high-quality and in-depth educational, career, or employment advising or coaching to diverse adult populations are required.

β€’ At least three (3) years of experience in training development and delivery, public speaking, group presentation, and facilitation skills, ideally in adult education or a medical/non-medical context.

β€’ A minimum of two (2) years of experience supervising or managing the provision of social services and/or educational programs, systems, and services.

β€’ U.S. Citizenship is mandatory due to access to U.S. Government systems.

β€’ Must have home internet service with speeds exceeding 3Mb for both upload and download through broadband internet.

β€’ Proficient technology and research skills are essential.

β€’ Ability to operate multiple computer systems concurrently.

β€’ Excellent communication skills are necessary.

β€’ Active listening skills to accurately interpret client needs and provide necessary support and/or resources.

β€’ Strong critical thinking abilities to connect clients with relevant resources.

β€’ Willingness to accommodate a full-time training schedule for the initial 6-8 weeks of employment if selected.

β€’ A suitable home office setup is required.

β€’ Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
