This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Collaborate with care coordinators, managers, community members, referral sources, children services, young adults, guardians, family members, case managers, and behavioral health providers.
• Offer administrative and operational assistance to the Care Coordination department.
• Oversee the inbound care management queue line.
• Address questions and inquiries from members, guardians, and parties involved in service provision.
• Process OhioRISE referrals, verify Medicaid eligibility, and handle referrals.
• Conduct Health Risk Assessments for assigned members.
• Work with complex data systems, including an Electronic Record System and/or Excel.
• Adapt to changing tasks and operational priorities.
• Ensure accurate workflows and information while communicating and collaborating with team members and leadership.
• Assist vulnerable populations and families in navigating complex systems.
• Work Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm, during standard business hours.
• Must be a resident of Ohio.
• Recent experience with other MCOs, specifically within the last 5-7 years in Ohio; experience may be substituted with recent employment in healthcare organizations or companies.
• Must pass the CANS assessment and obtain certification within 90 days of employment.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
• Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and quick decision-making.
• Detail-oriented for manual data entry tasks.
• Capable of handling escalated calls effectively.
• Problem-solving skills in high-stress situations.
• Ability to multitask across various systems simultaneously.
• Initiative and accountability in personal learning.
• Contribute positively to the work environment.
• Independently manage time and assigned responsibilities.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and organizational privacy standards.
• A private, distraction-free workspace to carry out all tasks.
• Secure personal internet connection required.
• An associate's degree or other specialized healthcare certifications or training is preferred.
• A genuine desire and interest in assisting individuals with behavioral health care needs is preferred.
