This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee customized account experiences that cater to the requirements of accounts and Health Care Providers.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients.
• Establish meaningful connections with customers and identify common priorities.
• Guide solutions that link clients to Novartis resources aimed at enhancing patient outcomes.
• Balance demand generation efforts with strategic account engagement.
• Address and resolve account challenges with customized solutions.
• Develop strategic territory plans to stimulate product demand and support patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office colleagues to fulfill customer needs and provide access support.
• Utilize market, competitive, and cross-functional knowledge to foresee opportunities and address challenges.
• Harness territory data and market trends to reveal local insights and bolster pull-through initiatives.
• Conduct impactful virtual and face-to-face customer engagements.
• Coordinate planning sessions with key stakeholders to tackle complex challenges.
• Collaborate across various functions to promptly meet customer needs.
• Provide real-time access support and work alongside Patient Specialty Services.
• Employ digital tools and omni-channel strategies for both virtual and in-person customer outreach.
• Bachelor's degree required from a 4-year college or university.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similarly structured industries with large, geographically dispersed sales teams within the last 5 years; candidates from complex sales environments are encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated history of consistent high performance.
• Experience navigating and successfully selling to large accounts and key clients.
• Analytical skills to identify, prioritize, and apply relevant information to address customer challenges.
• Ethical leadership and the capacity to cultivate an environment that promotes ethical behavior and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Must reside within the territory or be within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 50 miles from the territory border.
• Willingness to travel 60-80% across a wide geography.
• Capability to drive and/or fly within the territory.
• A fully valid and unrestricted driver’s license is required.
• Associate level: must be recently separated from the US Military with 4+ years of military service in a leadership role, or possess limited prior sales experience.
• Territory Account Specialist: 2+ years of experience in a relevant sales role within the last 5 years.
• Senior Territory Account Specialist: 5+ years of experience in a relevant sales role within the last 5 years.
• Executive Territory Account Specialist: 10+ years of experience in a relevant sales role within the last 5 years.
• Must successfully complete initial training, which includes home study of up to 8 hours per day and up to 40 hours per week.
• Customer-facing employees must adhere to customers’ credentialing guidelines, which may necessitate vaccination.
