This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Address and resolve challenges faced by customer accounts.
• Develop strategic territory plans that align with collective priorities.
• Promote product demand and enhance patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with territory colleagues, field teams, and home-office staff.
• Leverage market insights, competitive landscape knowledge, and cross-functional expertise.
• Utilize territory data and market trends to uncover local insights.
• Support pull-through initiatives and lead customer interactions both virtually and in person.
• Organize planning sessions with key stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively across functions to tackle complex customer issues.
• Provide real-time access support.
• Partner with Patient Specialty Services to ensure a smooth customer experience.
• Employ digital tools and omni-channel strategies for tailored outreach.
• Connect with customers through both virtual and in-person engagements.
• Serve as the main point of contact for accounts and healthcare providers.
• Identify shared priorities and link customers to Novartis resources.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required from a 4-year college or university.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similarly structured industries with large, geographically dispersed sales teams within the last 5 years; candidates from medical devices, diagnostics, life sciences services, insurance, consumer health, or B2B sectors are also encouraged to apply.
• A proven history of achieving high performance consistently.
• Experience in navigating and selling to large accounts and key customers.
• Strong analytical skills to seek, prioritize, and apply relevant information effectively.
• Ethical leadership capabilities and the ability to promote ethical behavior and compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
• Must reside within the territory or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 50 miles from the territory border.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% across a broad geographic area.
• Capability to drive and/or fly within the designated territory.
• Must possess a fully valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
• For Associate level: recently transitioned from the US Military with 4+ years of military service in a leadership role, or limited prior sales experience.
• For Territory Account Specialist: a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relevant sales position within the last 5 years.
• For Senior Territory Account Specialist: at least 5 years’ experience in a relevant sales role within the last 5 years.
• For Executive Territory Account Specialist: 10+ years’ experience in a relevant sales role within the last 5 years.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a cross-functional, matrix environment.
• Ability to communicate clinical product information clearly.
• Compliance with customer credentialing guidelines, which may include vaccination requirements.
