Cardiac Monitor Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Proficiently analyze and interpret cardiac rhythms while assessing for notification criteria and ensuring accurate documentation.

• Handle inbound phone calls from healthcare professionals or patients, utilizing effective soft skills to guarantee a high-quality interaction.

• Generate, review, and distribute Notification Reports, Daily Reports, and End of Use Reports as required.

• Adhere to the chain of command for the review of complex EKG rhythms prior to delivering notifications or reports.

• Achieve established quality and performance benchmarks.

• Comply with all company and departmental policies and protocols.

• Engage in extended computer work, including prolonged periods of screen time, while maintaining focus and productivity.

• Execute other assigned duties and responsibilities as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) is required.

• Certification as a Cardio graphic Technician (CCT) is necessary.

• Completion of a training program that certifies rhythm analysis training.

• A minimum of 1 year of related experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with medical terminology pertinent to cardiology.

• Capability to excel in a dynamic call center environment.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in reading and following detailed instructions, maintaining accurate records, and producing high-quality reports.

• Ability to adhere to procedures and familiarize oneself with support technology.

• Skills in planning, organizing, multi-tasking, and adapting to shifting priorities.

• Competence in using standard computers and basic office software.

• Knowledge of business English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation standards.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Willingness to work overtime or additional hours as required.

• Capability to pass ECG interpretation proficiency examinations.

• Proficiency in working with proprietary web-based software applications.
