Capital Markets Analyst I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Aid in the development and leadership of the bank’s Capital Markets Whole Loan Trading platform.

• Deliver analytical and operational assistance for the bank’s Secondary Whole Loan Trading operations.

• Oversee daily Loan Trading activities and reporting functions.

• Support the evaluation, structuring, and execution of structured finance transactions, which include securitization, whole loan sales, and forward flow agreements.

• Collaborate on execution efforts involving investment banks, insurance companies, hedge funds, credit funds, and private institutional investors.

• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with capital sources, institutional investors, rating agencies, and law firms.

• Prepare due diligence information for investors.

• Design, construct, and expand the operational framework for the Whole Loan Trading platform.

• Assist the Capital Markets Data Analytics team with financial modeling for asset performance and pricing.

• Manage communication and due diligence inquiries from capital market partners.

• Develop and maintain investor reporting, surveillance, dashboards, and Monthly Business Reviews.

• Create and update marketing materials intended for prospective investors.

• Establish and maintain investor databases and transaction comparables.

• Identify and implement best practices for Capital Markets reporting, as well as operational and credit risk management.

• Support third-party Capital Markets financial and operational audits.

• Assist the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Capital Markets with assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.

• 0–2 years of experience in Whole Loan Acquisitions/Divestitures, Debt Capital Markets, Structured Finance, Specialty Lending, and/or Investment Banking.

• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Progress towards an MBA and/or CFA is advantageous.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey investment merits to potential capital partners.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
