Capital Markets Analyst I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Identify, assess, and capitalize on strategic business opportunities through warehouse lending and innovative capital markets structured finance initiatives.

• Enhance the bank’s balance sheet and boost the organization’s financial performance.

• Provide analytical and operational assistance in overseeing the bank’s warehouse lending operations.

• Oversee daily warehouse lending activities and reporting, which includes preparing advance/paydown requests and reviewing borrowing base and compliance reports.

• Evaluate warehouse lending term sheets and legal documents, assess deal risks and returns, prepare deal approval write-ups, and present findings to the Executive Credit Committee.

• Develop and implement controls, mitigation strategies, testing, and oversight for the warehouse lending operations.

• Conduct and present periodic evaluations of existing warehouse lending agreements.

• Identify and adopt best practices associated with warehouse lending reporting and the management of operational and credit risks.

• Lead warehouse lending performance reporting and oversight of credit risk management.

• Assist with financial and operational audits conducted by third-party warehouse lending entities.

• Support structured finance transaction due diligence, financial modeling, risk assessment, and legal documentation.

• Conduct detailed financial analyses and aid in constructing complex transaction models for both new and existing warehouse-structured finance transactions.

• Provide support to the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Capital Markets with assigned responsibilities.

• Perform additional duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.

• Pursuing an MBA and/or CFA is advantageous.

• 0–2 years of experience in Warehouse Finance, Debt Capital Markets, Structured Credit, Specialty Lending, and/or Investment Banking.

• Recent graduates will be considered.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
