Cantonese-English Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise and prompt interpretation services between patients and healthcare professionals.

• Conduct both simultaneous and consecutive interpreting sessions.

• Ensure the correct application of medical terminology.

• Promote clear and culturally sensitive communication within healthcare environments.

• Support critical communication in both legal and medical contexts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 months experience in professional interpretation.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Medical or Legal fields.

• Availability for OPI/VRI or scheduled interpreting assignments.

• Strong listening, note-taking, and memory retention abilities.

• Professional setup compliant with HIPAA regulations.

• Wired USB headset equipped with noise cancellation features.

• Internet connection with at least 10Mbps upload speed and 20Mbps download speed.

• Proficient in both Cantonese and English.

• Interpretation experience must be included in the resume for consideration.
