Candidate Experience Specialist – Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Recruiters, hiring teams, and Recruiting leadership to comprehend and implement hiring strategies for job requisitions.

• Maintain precise and current hiring process details in the applicant tracking system and GitLab repositories.

• Oversee candidate scheduling and coordinate interviews.

• Ensure prompt, thoughtful, and engaging communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.

• Monitor candidate pipelines and identify issues or bottlenecks.

• Create and prepare employment contracts for candidates receiving job offers.

• Partner with People Operations to facilitate seamless transitions for new team members.

• Act as a brand ambassador by promoting GitLab's values, culture, and all-remote model.

• Support a smooth, consistent, and inclusive hiring process across GitLab's global organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience assisting with end-to-end hiring processes in collaboration with recruiters and hiring managers, preferably in a fast-paced or high-volume environment.

• Proficiency in using an applicant tracking system to schedule, monitor, and advance candidates through interview stages; familiarity with Greenhouse is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Competence with Google Workspace and scheduling tools, along with a willingness to learn and adopt additional tools.

• Capability to communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal forms with candidates and internal stakeholders at all levels, including executives.

• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills, with an emphasis on meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.

• Ability to cultivate collaborative relationships across time zones and functions while ensuring confidentiality.

• Interest in talent acquisition and a commitment to fostering an inclusive hiring process.

• Alignment with GitLab's values and comfort in an all-remote, asynchronous work environment.
