Candidate Engagement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Attract, assess, and secure top-tier travel nurses.

• Maintain staffing levels that align with client demands.

• Keep a pipeline of qualified candidates to support the growth and reputation of the company.

• Implement targeted marketing and outreach strategies to connect with experienced travel nurses.

• Emphasize competitive compensation, benefits, variety of assignments, company reputation, and support.

• Evaluate candidate experience, education, active licenses, and current certifications.

• Create a database of pre-qualified candidates for 30-, 60-, and 90-day deployments.

• Cultivate relationships with potential nurses utilizing Bullhorn tools.

• Source and engage potential leads through external database platforms.

• Collaborate with Recruiters and Account Managers to comprehend hospital requirements.

• Ensure candidates promptly fulfill specialty skills and licensure requirements.

• Monitor handoffs and follow up with leads within 60 minutes.

• Compile comprehensive candidate files, including work history with explanations for gaps, skills checklists, references, education, Nursys, and certifications, as well as availability, licensed states, and shift preferences.

• Transfer candidates to Recruiters through round-robin assignments and manager alignments.

• Complete hot handoff sheets and arrange recruiter follow-up calls accordingly.

• Maintain daily leadership tracking on engagement.

• Track weekly submissions effectively.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year in sourcing/recruiting; 2+ years preferred.

• At least 1 year of office experience.

• Strong computer and technological proficiency with Microsoft Office and recruitment software/tools.

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential job functions.

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• Experience in assessing nursing experience, education, active licenses, and active certifications.

• Ability to ensure candidates meet specialty skills and licensure requirements.

• Familiarity with Bullhorn tools.

• Experience using external database platforms.

• Experience collaborating with Recruiters and Account Managers.

• Proficient in candidate tracking, handoffs, follow-ups, file creation, references, education records, Nursys, certifications, availability, licensed states, shift preferences, and recruiter alignment.
