This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, modify, and oversee 2D/3D models utilizing AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
• Perform CNC programming with Fusion 360, with a preference for V-Carve.
• Analyze engineering and architectural drawings and specifications to produce precise mold types.
• Organize and enhance master molds for streamlined production and pouring operations.
• Partner with various manufacturing facilities to ensure models are appropriately tailored for each task.
• Create layouts and workflows that optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
• Keep precise records of design modifications and production schedules to ensure effective communication with the CNC and production teams.
• Coordinate with the CNC programming team, offering guidance and technical assistance.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure a smooth integration of design and manufacturing workflows.
• A high school diploma or GED is required; a technical certificate, associate degree, or bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD and modeling software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, or similar tools).
• Familiarity with CNC programming and machining principles in a manufacturing setting.
• Capability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings.
• Skill in transforming designs into production-ready models or CNC programs.
• Ability to maintain and oversee precise technical documentation and drawings.
• Understanding of general manufacturing processes and production workflows.
