Data Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Facilitate client exploration of source systems, data structures, field mappings, business rules, and integration needs.

• Design and execute comprehensive migrations into Creatio, encompassing staging, transformation, validation, loading, sequencing, and cutover processes.

• Establish mappings for entities, keys, dependencies, and parent-child relationships between source and target systems.

• Create and maintain synchronization between databases, applications, and CRM platforms, handling full and incremental loads, upserts, change tracking, conflict resolution, and rollback mechanisms.

• Cleanse, normalize, deduplicate, enrich, and reconcile data effectively.

• Ensure data completeness and accuracy after each loading phase.

• Document mappings, transformation rules, assumptions, and validation criteria thoroughly.

• Troubleshoot issues across database, integration, and application layers.

• Take ownership of tasks from analysis through to development, testing, validation, and post-deployment support.

• Collaborate with customers, analysts, developers, and QA, while also demonstrating the ability to work independently.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.

• Proven experience in data migration, data integration, database development, or data engineering.

• Preferred experience with Creatio, including familiarity with its data model, core entities, and integration patterns.

• Highly valued experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, or similar CRM platforms.

• Familiarity with CRM entities and source systems such as accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities, products, activities, cases, MS Dynamics, Business Central, and spreadsheets.

• Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling principles.

• Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL.

• Proficient in advanced SQL querying techniques, including joins, subqueries, CTEs, aggregations, and validation queries.

• Knowledge of database objects such as views, stored procedures, functions, indexes, and triggers.

• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and SSIS packages.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, OData, and common integration patterns.

• Strong skills in JSON and knowledge of CSV, XML, spreadsheets, and flat files.

• Proficiency with Git or Bitbucket and Agile methodologies using Jira.

• Capability to securely handle sensitive business data.

• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Confidence in engaging in client-facing discussions regarding architecture, scope, risks, and synchronization strategies.

• Willingness to ask clarifying questions and challenge ambiguous assumptions.

• Proactive problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail.

• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and environments.

• Experience with Python for tasks related to data processing, validation, reconciliation, and automation.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, data lakes, and medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).

• Basic knowledge of C# for integration services, backend utilities, and migration tools (preferred but not required).

• Ability to create reusable scripts that enhance consistency and minimize manual effort (preferred but not required).

• Practical application of AI for mapping analysis, SQL drafting, transformation review, reconciliation, and documentation, ensuring careful validation of outputs (preferred but not required).
