CAD Technician II / CNC Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Develop, modify, and oversee 2D/3D models utilizing AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.

• Perform CNC programming with Fusion 360 and, preferably, V-Carve.

• Analyze engineering and architectural drawings and specifications to produce precise mold types.

• Arrange and enhance master molds to promote efficient production and pouring methods.

• Collaborate with various manufacturing facilities to ensure models are properly adjusted for each project.

• Create layouts and workflows that optimize efficiency and reduce waste.

• Keep accurate records of design modifications and production plans to ensure communication with the CNC and production teams.

• Coordinate with the CNC programming team, offering guidance and technical assistance.

• Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to guarantee smooth integration of design and manufacturing operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required; a technical certificate, associate degree, or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

• Proficiency in CAD and modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, or similar).

• Familiarity with CNC programming and machining principles within a manufacturing setting.

• Capability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings.

• Competence in transforming designs into production-ready models or CNC programs.

• Ability to maintain and organize accurate technical documentation and drawings.

• Understanding of general manufacturing processes and production workflows.
