C++ Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using C++.

• Engage in requirements analysis, software design, code reviews, and product evaluations.

• Work closely with QA to ensure the delivery of reliable and high-quality software.

• Troubleshoot and rectify software defects.

• Participate in discussions related to product architecture and technical design.

• Report directly to the Director of Software Development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with no prior experience.

• Minimum of two years of professional experience in C++ software development.

• At least two years of experience in software development for both Linux and Windows platforms.

• Strong skills in analytical thinking, debugging, and problem-solving.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• Successful completion of a background check is required.

• Active Top Secret Clearance is necessary.

• Experience with the Qt framework and associated development tools is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows internals is a plus.

• Experience in Cryptography or Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) is a plus.

• Knowledge of Java is a plus.
