This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +15 more states.
• Acquire and expedite services, supplies, and equipment.
• Manage complex and high-value procurement activities.
• Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements with suppliers.
• Cultivate and maintain vendor relationships.
• Offer guidance on procurement policies and best practices to ensure adherence to timelines.
• Oversee sourcing and purchasing of information technology products, services, software, hardware, and related solutions.
• Collaborate with IT, Accounting, Legal, IT Security, and business stakeholders to guarantee that technology purchases are cost-effective, compliant, timely, and aligned with organizational needs.
• Draft and update policies and procedures for the company purchasing manual.
• Communicate purchasing policies and procedures to vendors, manufacturers, and company personnel.
• Calculate, analyze, verify, and maintain proposals, specifications, quotes, competitive bids, invoices, and receipts.
• Travel to the office upon request.
• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and job-related experience.
• Familiarity with purchasing policies and procedures.
• Proficiency in using office equipment and relevant software.
• Experience and training in procurement functions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret catalogs, contracts, warranty agreements, specifications, forms, reports, and correspondence.
• Experience in composing and preparing contracts, reports, business cases, quotes, and correspondence.
• Proven ability to develop information and deliver presentations to groups and individuals.
• Experience in interacting, negotiating, assisting, and communicating effectively.
• Familiarity with source-to-pay systems; experience with Ariba or ERP is desirable.
• Experience with ServiceNow is an advantage.
• Knowledge of IT equipment, supplies, and software procured through company purchasing functions.
• Ability to apply mathematical and algebraic formulas.
• Capability to supervise, lead, or delegate work assignments.
• Understanding of personnel policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate, exchange written and verbal information, and conduct oral presentations.
• No licenses or certifications required.
• Eligibility for remote work in one of the designated states.
• Travel to the corporate office for meetings as necessary.
