Business Systems Analyst – Finance Systems, Quote to Revenue

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Assist in improving and supporting financial systems within the organization’s Quote-to-Revenue frameworks.

• Oversee the functional design, configuration, and integration of Zuora CPQ, Zuora Billing, and Zuora Revenue (RevPro) with Salesforce CRM and NetSuite GL.

• Collect and document business requirements while designing scalable and compliant system solutions.

• Ensure adherence to ASC 606/IFRS 15 accounting standards.

• Identify and resolve discrepancies in system data, reconciliation challenges, and process inefficiencies.

• Conduct testing, deployment, and continuous maintenance to ensure precise billing and revenue recognition.

• Engage in development, configuration, troubleshooting, and comprehensive process enablement across Quote-to-Cash and Revenue Recognition workflows.

• Facilitate automations and integrations utilizing Workato.

• Collaborate with Finance, Revenue Accounting, IT, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams.

• Manage release timelines, change requests, and system enhancements.

• Ensure compliance with internal control frameworks and external reporting standards through SOX controls.

• Offer post-implementation support and promote continuous improvements.

• Take part in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative delivery within an Agile/Scrum setting.

• Perform data analytics utilizing Tableau, Power BI, and SQL.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Seven (7) years of experience in roles such as Billing Solution Architect, Billing Solution Developer, Billing Solutions Consultant, or similar positions.

• Proven expertise in Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Revenue Value Streams, including Zuora CPQ, Zuora Billing, and Zuora Revenue (RevPro).

• Familiarity with ASC 606 and IFRS15 accounting standards.

• Experience in integrating Zuora CPQ, Zuora Billing, and Zuora Revenue (RevPro) with Salesforce CRM and NetSuite GL.

• Understanding of Data Connect, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware integration platforms like Workato, Boomi, and MuleSoft.

• Capable of gathering, documenting, and translating complex business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and data mapping documents.

• Knowledge of SOX controls.

• Ability to identify and address system data discrepancies, reconciliation issues, and process bottlenecks within integrated systems.

• Proficient in Lucidchart, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, and Asana.

• Skilled in Tableau, Power BI, and SQL.

• Understanding of sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative delivery in an Agile/Scrum environment.

• Must possess U.S. employment authorization.
