Business Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create specifications for minor software development tasks

• Conduct testing in alignment with company standards, client requirements, and regulatory obligations

• Evaluate programming modifications and system improvements to current applications

• Verify the correctness of program modifications

• Assess programming alterations resulting from bug fixes, enhancements, development, and version updates

• Collaborate with developers to ensure high-quality outcomes

• Examine data files and pinpoint issues

• Draft specifications for minor software modifications

• Manage changes in collaboration with vendors and clients

• Design, produce, and review reports, queries, data, and procedures within systems

• Organize and distribute forms and mailings for routine processes

• Aid in the creation, planning, and execution of new client implementations

• Offer technical assistance, training, and problem-solving support to end users

• Document system and client support protocols

• Carry out other related tasks and special projects as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• Two years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or two years of experience in a third-party administrator environment with relevant technical knowledge

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and applications

• Basic comprehension of business practices

• Solid understanding of project management principles

• Familiarity with database systems

• Strong skills in organization, analysis, problem-solving, and time management

• Ability to exercise independent judgment

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Outstanding oral and written communication skills

• Capacity to collaborate with diverse groups of professionals effectively

• Preferred: Associate's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or two years of technical education

• Preferred: Practical knowledge of SQL

• Preferred: Two years of experience supporting and/or developing applications in an IBM Series I environment

• Preferred: Experience in a healthcare setting or with a third-party administrator

• Preferred: Experience with Taft Hartley businesses
