This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as a strategic collaborator with Claims Operations, Product, Technology, Compliance, Training, and Operational Readiness teams.
β’ Draft, manage, and oversee operational process documentation.
β’ Supervise standard communications regarding claims.
β’ Engage in system testing and activities related to release readiness.
β’ Handle compliance notifications and enhance business processes.
β’ Develop and revise SOPs, job aids, process maps, workflows, operational manuals, and training materials.
β’ Produce and circulate huddle notifications, release summaries, and training guides.
β’ Collaborate with Product, Implementation, IT, business, compliance, legal, and technology teams on communications directed at claimants.
β’ Take part in claim system testing, releases, and implementation activities that affect Leave and Disability operations.
β’ Assess business system requirements and evaluate and relay operational impacts of system modifications.
β’ Analyze processes to pinpoint opportunities for simplification, standardization, and automation.
β’ Assist in the development of long-term operational governance frameworks and best practices.
β’ Lead cross-functional projects and spearhead release readiness efforts as necessary.
β’ High School Diploma or GED.
β’ Minimum of 4 years of experience in Leave & Disability claim management.
β’ Familiarity with FMLA, ADA, PFML, STD, LTD, and integrated absence programs.
β’ Proven experience in creating operational documentation, SOPs, and business process standards.
β’ Experience in supporting system implementations, conducting release testing, or managing operational readiness activities.
β’ Strong comprehension of leave and disability operational workflows and relevant regulatory considerations.
β’ Excellent analytical, organizational, and project coordination capabilities.
β’ Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Demonstrated ability to influence others without direct authority and to collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups.
β’ Preferred: Bachelorβs Degree.
β’ Preferred: Experience with FINEOS or similar claims administration platforms.
β’ Preferred: Experience in leading operational change management initiatives.
