This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the daily operational elements of projects and scopes, which includes planning activities and related artifacts.
• Manage extensive multi-project programs, focusing on planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling various activities.
• Develop and implement project work plans, making adjustments as necessary.
• Determine resource needs and allocate responsibilities accordingly.
• Create and uphold master and individual resource plans along with essential project documentation.
• Establish project baselines and capture actual metrics for historical records and Level of Effort forecasting.
• Review team outputs prior to submission to management and clients.
• Utilize PMI methodology and uphold project standards.
• Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance processes.
• Reduce project risk exposure effectively.
• Convey project information to management, stakeholders, and clients.
• Address or escalate issues as needed.
• Ensure that project documents are thorough, up-to-date, and securely stored.
• Monitor and implement lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle.
• Properly conclude projects following completion.
• Supervise team members, providing guidance, insights, and performance evaluations.
• Manage workload priorities and troubleshoot issues as a point of escalation.
• Collaborate with vendors, monitoring performance and SLAs while supporting system and business process modifications.
• Engage in drafting vendor contracts, addendums, SOWs, RFPs/RFIs, change requests, and requirements documents.
• Lead initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Oversee the POTFF program or specific site business operations.
• Work with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, expenditures, staffing, training investments, and facility management.
• Coordinate activities across various human performance domains.
• Supervise administrative and clerical staff, including scheduling, onboarding, and training processes.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, regulations, safety, security, and organizational policies.
• Coordinate vendor activities and procurement processes.
• Maintain strong relationships with government clients, program leaders, functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Create operational metrics, reports, and performance indicators.
• Identify operational risks and promote corrective actions alongside continuous improvements.
• A Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in place of a degree.
• A minimum of 7–10 years of relevant professional experience is required.
• At least five years of experience in program management, contract administration, business operations, or similar roles in defense, government, or regulated environments.
• Proven experience in budgeting, financial oversight, resource planning, procurement, and cost management.
• Background in supervising staff and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with federal contracting and relevant compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and business reporting tools.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• An active U.S. Government Secret security clearance or eligibility to obtain and maintain one is necessary.
• An advanced degree in business administration, public administration, public health, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience supporting Special Operations Forces, military readiness, human performance, behavioral health, or physical readiness programs is a plus.
• Knowledge of USSOCOM and POTFF mission priorities is preferred.
• Familiarity with FAR or DFARS regulations is preferred.
• Experience in developing performance metrics and executive-level operational reports is preferred.
• PMP or another relevant certification is desirable.
• An active Department of Defense Secret or higher-level clearance is preferred.
