This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.
• Spearhead Subterra's scaling phase by enhancing order volume, revenue, and overall business performance.
• Offer strategic leadership, guidance, and mentorship to Operations, Sales, and Technology teams.
• Hold complete P&L accountability for the Subterra Business Line.
• Achieve annual targets for Orders, Sales, Margin, and AOP performance.
• Formulate and implement the 3-Year Strategic Growth Plan along with annual strategic objectives.
• Apply 8020 methodologies to reduce product complexity, streamline offerings, and oversee product life cycles.
• Encourage cross-functional collaboration across ADS to bolster growth, engagement, and operational excellence.
• Lead the Business Development team in enhancing backlog, bookings, and generating new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with ADS Sales to deepen customer engagement and accelerate growth.
• Supervise Orders and Sales forecasting and execute strategies to meet or surpass forecasts.
• Align Business Development, Regional Sales, and Channel Partners to maximize market outreach.
• Engage in tradeshows and customer meetings.
• Oversee the launch of upcoming hardware and software products.
• Own and drive the future-state product roadmap.
• Facilitate collaboration among Technology, Operations, Sales, and ADS partners.
• Link product strategy to market insights, customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and Business Line objectives.
• Monitor roadmap milestones and proactively identify and mitigate risks.
• Steer the product and technology roadmap.
• Lead prioritization and investment decisions for New Product Development.
• Ensure timely fulfillment of strategic and customer-focused engineering commitments.
• Establish goals, priorities, accountability, ownership, expectations, and success metrics throughout the Business Line.
• Foster organizational focus on Subterra’s four principal growth pillars.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Technology, or a relevant field.
• Over 5 years of commercial experience in driving Orders, Revenue, Margin expansion, and market growth.
• More than 5 years of progressive leadership experience in Business Management, General Management, Product Management, Commercial Leadership, or similar roles.
• Extensive product experience in product strategy, product lifecycle management, roadmap ownership, and significant product launches.
• Proven success in managing or influencing P&L performance, strategic planning, pricing, investment prioritization, and operational execution.
• Capacity to convert market insights, customer requirements, and competitive intelligence into actionable strategies and product decisions.
• Ability to lead complex initiatives, juggle multiple priorities, and deliver results punctually and within scope.
• Preferred experience in the Municipal Water/Wastewater sector, including procurement processes, funding cycles, and operational challenges.
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and coaching abilities.
• Willingness to travel 25%–50% based on business requirements.
