Business Intelligence Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, publish, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to collect reporting and analytics requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

• Build and sustain data models, including executing data transformations and optimizing queries for enhanced performance.

• Connect and integrate Power BI with SQL databases, Excel files, and cloud-based data services.

• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and proper access controls of data across reports and dashboards.

• Monitor and enhance report performance, usability, and reliability.

• Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT to expedite Power BI development, including complex DAX expressions, data models, and reporting solutions.

• Provide documentation, guidance, and training to end users to encourage effective utilization of business intelligence tools.

• Continuously improve reporting solutions based on user feedback and changing business needs.

• Support wider analytics initiatives by aiding in the establishment of best practices for data visualization, reporting, and data governance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in developing business intelligence or analytics solutions using Power BI or comparable BI tools.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• Strong proficiency with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.

• Significant experience utilizing AI tools like ChatGPT to enhance productivity and efficiency in Power BI development.

• Ability to critically assess AI-generated solutions and verify their accuracy, performance, and adherence to best practices in Power BI development.

• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.

• An understanding of data warehousing concepts, data pipelines, and ETL processes.

• Capability to analyze complex datasets and convey insights in a clear and meaningful manner.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective interaction with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
