
Business Development Representative – EMEA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +3 more states.
• Directly report to Qdrant's Enterprise sales leaders and serve as an extension of their account strategy.
• Conduct outbound prospecting into designated enterprise accounts, focusing on engineering, AI, and data leadership.
• Qualify and advance inbound leads generated through marketing, content, and community channels.
• Investigate target accounts to uncover expansion opportunities within current customers and new strategic-segment logos.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Account Executives on strategic outreach and multi-threaded account plans.
• Engage in discovery discussions regarding prospects' challenges related to retrieval, search, and AI infrastructure.
• Schedule qualified meetings and transfer well-defined opportunities to the Enterprise sales team.
• Develop outbound workflows utilizing Claude and Common Room.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of Salesforce and pipeline data.
• Provide account and market insights to sales, marketing, and product teams.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly qualified-pipeline targets.
• Up to three years of experience in business development, sales development, or a comparable quota-carrying prospecting role, preferably in a technical B2B SaaS or infrastructure company.
• Proven history of meeting or surpassing pipeline generation targets.
• Comfortable with both inbound follow-up and proactive outbound prospecting into enterprise accounts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to engage credibly with technical audiences.
• Genuine interest in AI infrastructure, vector search, or developer tools.
• Willingness to learn technical fundamentals; engineering experience is not a prerequisite.
• Authentic desire to pursue a career in sales.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and sales engagement tools.
• Organized, self-driven, and adept at navigating ambiguity in a rapidly growing company.
• Nice to have: understanding of key AI/ML personas.
• Nice to have: familiarity with databases, search, and cloud infrastructure.
• Nice to have: a background in engineering or computer science.
