This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +1 more country.
• Lead, develop, and drive the sales growth of Xylem Treatment solutions.
• Implement and achieve the aggressive sales growth plan for the assigned territory through both channel partners and direct sales.
• Conduct monthly reviews to forecast run-rate business and new projects.
• Identify and qualify sales leads and prospects while enhancing existing accounts and markets.
• Build relationships with potential customers and stakeholders across all levels.
• Analyze competitive products, accounts, and Xylem's value proposition.
• Develop accounts, schedule sales appointments, and penetrate accounts thoroughly.
• Formulate sales plans and strategies tailored to specific market sectors and applications.
• Forecast territory sales and proactively prospect to sustain a robust pipeline.
• Cultivate technical sales expertise and collaborate with Application Engineering, Aftermarket Sales, Project Management, and Field Service teams to generate customer solutions.
• Provide market intelligence regarding regulatory changes, trends, product enhancements, and emerging opportunities.
• Organize local trade show booths and tabletops.
• Maintain opportunities in the centralized CRM system and utilize available sales tools.
• Create value through innovative approaches for customers and channel partners.
• Manage the territory by training, coaching, and leading regional channel partners.
• Prepare performance presentations and reports for the Sales Leader and Leadership Team.
• Share competitive intelligence regarding products, regions, pricing, OEMs, and promotions.
• Maintain urgency in closing opportunities while qualifying and developing leads.
• A minimum of 10 years of proven technical sales experience is required.
• At least 10 years of experience in water treatment and filtration sales is essential.
• Strong expertise in deionized water applications is highly desirable, along with an existing regional network of connections.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a solid understanding of relationship selling and solution selling.
• Technical sales experience with the ability to quickly grasp products, processes, and purchasing drivers.
• High level of accountability and ownership over territory goals and performance.
• Capability to lead, coach, and inspire individuals to achieve targets.
• Ability to work effectively within a team through manufacturers' representatives.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, CRM programs, and other electronic selling media.
• Strong analytical skills, self-motivated, organized, and disciplined.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including ground and air transportation.
• Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of closing contracts.
