This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland, +1 more state.
• Drive the acquisition of new products and expand the portfolio within Major Accounts and Tier 1 clients.
• Identify opportunities to boost revenue and enhance strategic partnerships.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of customers’ products, technologies, manufacturing capabilities, and business objectives.
• Align solutions with the specific needs of customers.
• Build and maintain expertise in customer sourcing, supply chain, and procurement strategies.
• Identify growth prospects and influence purchasing decisions.
• Navigate complex customer organizations, stakeholders, decision-making processes, and RFI/RFP requirements.
• Lead commercial negotiations and establish mutually beneficial agreements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to transform opportunities into new product successes.
• Act as a liaison between customers and Technical Sales, Commercial Development, and Platform teams.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events.
• Assist in lead generation, partnership development, and converting prospects into qualified opportunities.
• A degree in a Life Sciences discipline such as Biochemistry, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• Significant commercial and business development experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CDMO sectors.
• Proven track record of generating and expanding strategic customer partnerships.
• Strong knowledge of the drug development lifecycle, including pre-clinical, clinical, manufacturing, and commercialization stages.
• Ability to engage in substantive scientific and business discussions.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence in influencing technical experts and senior executives.
• Experience managing sales pipelines and customer engagement activities using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
