This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Formulate strategic business planning, direction, and explore existing opportunities in International Tactical Communications and Information Systems.
• Spearhead new strategic initiatives to guarantee sustainable long-term growth.
• Manage the complete growth pipeline for a specified geographic area.
• Identify, assess, and secure new contracts while enhancing relationships with existing programs.
• Execute market sizing, trend analysis, and competitor research.
• Discover opportunities to leverage AI for ongoing improvements and innovations.
• Establish and sustain a strategic opportunity pipeline.
• Detect emerging defense budget programs, procurement cycles, and shifts in policy.
• Create business cases and strategic plans for pursuit and capture efforts.
• Develop and nurture networks with government entities, OEMs, and industry peers.
• Generate leads through industry insights and events.
• Identify, assess, and onboard strategic channel partners.
• Collaborate with partners and subcontractors on joint marketing initiatives and value propositions.
• Evaluate strengths and weaknesses of potential partners and competitors.
• Work alongside solution architecture, product line management, and engineering to develop value-based proposals.
• Collaborate with Product Management on roadmap prioritization informed by market feedback.
• Represent International TacCIS at industry conferences, trade shows, press releases, brochures, briefings, and technical symposiums.
• Author white papers, case studies, and briefings that highlight TacCIS's mission impact.
• Conduct negotiations with customers, partners, and corporate stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, International Relations, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Strong comprehension of the Land C5ISR market.
• Experience in a defense-related industrial sector, including technical, project management, or marketing/business development roles.
• Proven track record of sales in markets characterized by lengthy sales cycles.
• Familiarity with international defense sales.
• Knowledge and experience in navigating procurement processes globally.
• Capacity to obtain and maintain a Canadian government security clearance.
• Must comply with applicable Canadian Controlled Goods program and security assessment criteria.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
