Business Development Manager – Insurance Software

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Drive sales initiatives and formulate strategies by identifying and managing potential clients.

• Contribute to the development of sales strategies.

• Balance outreach efforts, product demonstrations, and follow-up activities.

• Engage with customers through both in-person and virtual presentations.

• Showcase the Acturis platform.

• Negotiate both technical and commercial terms effectively.

• Represent Acturis at industry-related events.

• Acquire in-depth knowledge of the Acturis system to provide detailed demonstrations.

• Maintain a precise and comprehensive CRM database of potential customers.

• Lead projects, shape strategic direction, and mentor team members.

• Build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline.

• Present solutions to clients and conduct software demonstrations.

• Represent the organization at meetings, events, and networking opportunities.

• Travel across the country as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in sales with extensive industry knowledge.

• Strong grasp of insurance operations.

• Consistent track record of acquiring new business.

• Ability to construct and manage a high-quality sales pipeline.

• Excellent negotiation and commercial communication skills.

• Confidence in presenting to clients.

• Capability to deliver persuasive software demonstrations.

• Ability to effectively represent the business in meetings, events, and networking situations.

• Strong independence, organization, and adaptability skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.

• Quick learner of new systems, ideally including Acturis.

• Willingness to travel nationwide.

• Possession of a full UK driving licence.

• Must reside outside of London, Greater London, and the South East.

• Must have the legal right to work in the UK.

• Acturis is unable to provide sponsorship for this role.
