This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Formulate and implement a thorough government strategy targeting Space Force, defense-related agencies, and allied defense organizations.
• Identify, engage, and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in federal agencies, military branches, and government-affiliated entities.
• Generate and finalize significant government contracts, achieving a minimum annual sales order goal of $8 million.
• Oversee the entire sales process from initial discussions to proposal creation and securing long-term contracts.
• Foster connections with French aerospace and defense contractors, prime contractors, space agencies, and institutional stakeholders.
• Detect business prospects within government-funded space initiatives, defense programs, and international collaboration efforts.
• Represent EnduroSat at industry conferences, government briefings, and policy discussions.
• Track government funding initiatives, procurement patterns, and policy shifts impacting the space sector.
• Collaborate with product, technical, legal, and executive teams to ensure business development strategies align with company goals.
• Over 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or contract acquisition within the space, defense, or aerospace sectors.
• Proven success in securing high-value government contracts.
• Extensive network within the French military and defense sectors as well as relevant German government agencies.
• In-depth understanding of French government procurement procedures, funding mechanisms, and export control regulations.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively with product, technical, legal, and executive teams.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills tailored for government stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings, conferences, and industry interactions.
• Based in France or open to relocation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of purchasing processes, RFP procedures, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
• Extensive network of contacts in the space industry and aerospace sector.
• Dynamic and proactive attitude; strong team player with a highly collaborative approach.
