This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Develop and implement data-driven sales strategies aimed at boosting revenue and enhancing market presence across Poland and Europe.
• Identify and assess new business opportunities in Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operational Excellence services.
• Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and finalization.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline and ensure efficient management of the sales funnel.
• Align sales initiatives with GIS's strategic goals and growth aspirations.
• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients, partners, and senior stakeholders.
• Interact with senior management teams from multinational and Fortune 500 companies.
• Comprehend customer requirements and create customized value propositions.
• Act as a representative of GIS at client meetings, industry gatherings, and networking events.
• Spot opportunities within the Medical, Oil & Gas, Aerospace & Defense, and Railway sectors.
• Keep an eye on market trends, industry shifts, and competitive actions.
• Utilize market intelligence to pinpoint strategic growth prospects.
• Assist in fostering strategic partnerships and expansion in targeted geographical markets.
• Report directly to the Business Development Director, who is currently the CEO.
• Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, consulting services, or a commercial role within Supply Chain and Procurement settings.
• Strong grasp of sales methodologies, lead generation, account management, and pipeline development.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, reporting tools, and advanced Excel applications.
• Financial expertise encompassing revenue growth, profit margins, pricing strategies, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Inventory Management, and Operational Excellence practices.
• Strong commercial insight and the ability to translate customer needs into viable business opportunities.
• Experience in the Medical, Oil & Gas, Aerospace & Defense, and/or Railway industries is a significant advantage.
• Good understanding of the Polish and/or broader European market landscape.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, networking, planning, and analytical skills.
• Capacity to work independently while effectively collaborating with teams.
• English: Full professional proficiency.
• Proficiency in Polish is a strong asset; knowledge of other European languages is beneficial.
