Business Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with research and development, engineering, quality assurance, and business teams to collect and assess business requirements.

• Assist in the implementation, configuration, and enhancement of IBM ELM and Ketryx platforms.

• Convert business needs into functional specifications and technological solutions.

• Enhance requirements management, traceability, change management, and engineering workflows.

• Perform gap analyses, process mapping, and business process improvements.

• Facilitate system integration, data migration, testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Create functional documentation, business requirements, and user training resources.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technology solutions are in line with business goals and compliance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Business Consultant, Business Analyst, or Functional Consultant in R&D or engineering technology settings.

• Practical experience with IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM).

• Familiarity with Ketryx for managing product development lifecycles, traceability, or compliance.

• Knowledge of requirements management, engineering lifecycle processes, and change control.

• Experience in gathering business requirements, leading workshops, and managing stakeholders.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
