This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Provide guidance to a portfolio of Commercial Community Bank clients in a virtual delivery setting.
• Deliver expertise and support for intricate depository/treasury, lending, and wealth management relationships.
• Establish connections and engage in advising discussions with complex clients and prospective customers.
• Collaborate with Integrated Relationship Management colleagues to offer customized solutions.
• Discover opportunities through value-added lifecycle discussions.
• Convert opportunities into Truist products and actionable strategies.
• Identify and connect with prospects utilizing networks and contacts in a virtual environment.
• Conduct strategic business reviews that promote revenue growth, client retention, and outstanding service.
• Execute pre-call planning, advising, and follow-up activities.
• Process sophisticated transactions involving multilayered business frameworks, deposit and treasury requirements, as well as complex lending structures.
• Oversee product and solution opportunity pipelines throughout the fulfillment process.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of Truist's capabilities, solutions, and industry trends.
• Act as an individual contributor on a Business Connect Squad.
• Mentor and assist teammates as needed.
• Advise clients on innovative digital solutions.
• Promptly escalate any concerns as necessary.
• Adhere to operational, risk, and credit policies.
• Achieve or surpass established performance metrics.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and experience in financial services.
• A minimum of four years of experience in Business or Commercial Banking sales (or related fields).
• Proven ability to pursue and achieve results.
• General understanding of business banking products, lending, cash cycle, sales processes, and current market/industry knowledge.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and virtual connectivity tools.
• Skilled in business acumen, interpersonal savvy, prioritization, navigating complex interactions, and problem-solving.
• Fluency in the English language is required.
• Must reside and work within the geographic area specified in the requisition.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Preferred: Completion of a credit training course or cash cycle training course.
