Business Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a senior business consultant, leading business architecture, functional guidance, and value realization for intricate projects and transformation initiatives.

• Utilize insights from industry trends, market dynamics, customer behavior, operations, and finances to frame business challenges, pinpoint opportunities, and prioritize transformation efforts.

• Convert strategic goals into target capabilities, value streams, operating-model elements, process directives, initiatives, and quantifiable results.

• Establish current-state and future-state business architecture encompassing stakeholders, governance, processes, information flow, customer experience, and enabling technology.

• Govern decisions related to business architecture and document assumptions, options, trade-offs, risks, dependencies, and rationale.

• Create business cases, transformation roadmaps, investment plans, and value-realization strategies.

• Define value metrics, baselines, milestones, success criteria, responsibilities, and review timelines.

• Maintain value maps linking project outputs to desired business outcomes.

• Assess delivery, adoption, operational, and business performance metrics to evaluate realized value and suggest necessary adjustments.

• Lead discovery and scoping sessions to clarify project requirements, objectives, business context, and anticipated outcomes.

• Convert business requirements into business-value specifications and align proposed solutions with expected outcomes.

• Assist in presales activities by documenting business processes, presenting value propositions, aligning project scope, and planning for value realization.

• Review statements of work, solution designs, and presales materials.

• Collaborate with leaders from Product, Experience, Solution, Engineering, Data, Design, Technology, Delivery, and PMO teams.

• Ensure implementation aligns with value-realization plans and identify opportunities for enhancement.

• Facilitate executive decision-making forums focused on strategic alignment, investment priorities, decision-making authority, ownership, governance, and measurable outcomes.

• Maintain communication with stakeholders and support informed decision-making processes.

• Mentor consultants and functional leaders while developing scalable business architecture, strategy, and value-realization methodologies.

• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

• Employ approved AI-enabled tools to analyze business data, model scenarios, enhance architecture tasks, and identify transformation opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in business architecture, strategic consulting, business transformation, or equivalent practical experience.

• Proficient in defining, designing, and documenting business processes as well as current and future-state business architectures.

• Proven experience in translating business strategies into capabilities, operating models, roadmaps, measurable outcomes, and value-realization plans.

• Skilled in developing business cases, ROI assumptions, value metrics, performance indicators, and transformation or investment roadmaps.

• Strong understanding of digital technology solutions and their alignment with business objectives.

• Experience in facilitating executive decision-making and communication among business, technology, product, data, design, and delivery teams.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, facilitation, and presentation abilities.

• Capability to work independently, think strategically, and manage competing demands under pressure.

• Aptitude for identifying and recommending value-added solutions while mentoring functional practitioners.

• Willingness to travel up to 40%.

• Candidates must possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Adobe solutions.

• Preferred: Relevant platform expertise, technical skills, certifications, or industry-specific knowledge.
