Business and Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain Power BI dashboards, Power Platform solutions, and technology tools that promote stakeholder self-service.

• Create and refine metrics and reports reflecting the financial and operational performance of products and services.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document data definitions, business rules, and data quality standards.

• Design and produce reports and dashboards for leaders, management, and clients.

• Analyze data to uncover trends and root causes, offering suggestions for improvements.

• Ensure data quality and reliable reporting inputs are maintained.

• Manage a library of operational and financial reports and dashboards.

• Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and appropriate data accessibility standards.

• Lead both standard and ad hoc data requests utilizing internal and external operational and financial data.

• Provide financial assistance and tracking, including reviewing monthly invoices.

• Act as a consulting partner to operational leaders by defining problems, assessing technology options, and delivering process or automation solutions.

• Design and implement workflow automation using Power Automate, SharePoint, and Power Apps.

• Encourage information sharing and collaboration among Divisions and Business Units.

• Develop and execute performance improvement initiatives alongside operational leaders.

• Support tracking and coordination efforts that enhance the financial health of practices and programs.

• Collaborate on company-wide initiatives with departmental leads, Business Analysts, stakeholders, and subject matter experts.

• Assist in the preparation of site annual reports, operational assessments, and project proposals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Administration, Public Health, Technology, or a related field is required.

• 1-3 years of experience in data analysis and/or healthcare-focused programs is required.

• Proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query/M, data modeling) and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint) is preferred.

• Experience with AI and agentic tools is preferred.

• 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, planning, coordinating, and implementing healthcare-focused programs is preferred.

• Familiarity with Tableau and other Business Intelligence tools is preferred.

• Ability to think systemically to identify root causes, map dependencies, and design solutions that address upstream issues.

• Capability to independently scope, design, and deliver technology solutions with minimal technical supervision.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to convert business requirements into technical specifications.

• Basic understanding of medical terminology.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Ability to quickly establish credibility with both internal and external customers.

• Knowledge of program development and project management principles.

• Ability to perform detailed work accurately and swiftly, meet deadlines across multiple projects, work independently with limited oversight, and collaborate effectively as a team member.
