Business Analyst/Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Define and articulate the product vision and roadmap in alignment with business objectives.

• Assess product performance and outcomes to inform future iterations.

• Own, manage, and prioritize the product backlog effectively.

• Weigh business value, technical limitations, risks, and delivery efforts in prioritization decisions.

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements through workshops, interviews, and data analysis.

• Identify existing gaps, dependencies, and cross-system impacts.

• Convert business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.

• Validate requirements alongside technical teams and assist in solution design.

• Foster alignment and facilitate decision-making among engineering, design, QA, data, and operations teams.

• Assist in sprint planning, sprint reviews, and backlog refinement processes.

• Engage in testing, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and manage release readiness.

• Collect user feedback to guide product enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or a closely related position within a technology-focused or digital product environment.

• In-depth knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Kanban software development lifecycles.

• Experience collaborating closely with cross-functional agile teams.

• Strong background in requirements analysis, user story creation, and process modeling.

• Conceptual understanding of APIs, data flows, and system behaviors.

• Proficient in utilizing metrics, KPIs, and data insights for informed decision-making.

• Focused on outcomes, customer value, and balancing scope, time, cost, and quality trade-offs.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Advanced proficiency in oral English.

• Advanced proficiency in Spanish.
