Business Analyst, Sales Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead business analysis for enterprise licensing projects by gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating requirements, process flows, and anticipated outcomes.

• Create and implement test plans, scenarios, cases, scripts, user acceptance testing, regression testing, process validation, and post-implementation verification.

• Document and monitor defects until resolution is achieved.

• Act as the subject-matter expert in enterprise licensing throughout project planning, testing, implementation, and issue resolution.

• Evaluate processes, systems, and operational data to uncover service gaps, recurring problems, manual tasks, control requirements, and automation possibilities.

• Collaborate with technology teams and sales stakeholders to evaluate upstream and downstream effects and propose viable solutions.

• Generate operational and ad hoc reports by extracting and analyzing data from Business Objects and other reporting tools.

• Oversee implemented changes and confirm that intended outcomes are achieved.

• Ensure the maintenance of precise project and testing documentation.

• Leverage approved AI and business tools to enhance analysis, reporting, and efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations, or 8 years of relevant work experience.

• 3 years of experience in business analysis, insurance operations, licensing, process enhancement, or testing, which includes requirements gathering, data analysis, reporting, and collaboration with stakeholders.

• Profound knowledge of business analysis methodologies, such as requirements elicitation, process analysis, user stories, acceptance criteria, documentation, and impact assessment.

• Familiarity with software testing and quality assurance practices, including test planning, user acceptance testing, regression testing, defect management, and results validation.

• Understanding of insurance agent licensing, appointments, onboarding, renewals, assignments, hierarchy maintenance, and terminations, or the capability to swiftly acquire this knowledge.

• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, research, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills.

• Capable of working independently, managing multiple priorities, maintaining detailed documentation, and delivering precise, high-quality work.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, data analysis, data validation, lookups, and organizing and interpreting large datasets.

• Experience with Business Objects or similar reporting platforms.

• Not eligible for visa sponsorship.

• Ability to work during Central or Eastern Time hours.

• All work must be conducted within the United States.
