Business Analyst, Documentum

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Elicit, challenge, and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications, along with acceptance criteria that are implementable.

• Analyze interactions within systems, their dependencies, data exchanges, error pathways, and integration patterns.

• Define and review specifications for business APIs, REST APIs, and SOAP services.

• Document mappings from source to target, including JSON/XML structures, transformations, and validation rules.

• Analyze use cases related to document upload, retrieval, updates, searches, metadata, versioning, lifecycle, and access control.

• Prepare process models, context diagrams, sequence flows, and integration diagrams.

• Assist in backlog refinement, estimation, delivery planning, and clarification of cross-team dependencies.

• Develop test scenarios and support validation through API, integration, system, and UAT processes.

• Ensure end-to-end traceability between business needs, requirements, solution decisions, user stories, test evidence, and delivered outcomes.

• Collaborate with product owners, architects, developers, QA, security, operations, and platform teams.

• Identify impacts—functional, technical, security-related, operational, and compatibility—of proposed changes.

• Create and maintain structured documentation for delivery in Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.

• Responsibly utilize enterprise-approved generative AI tools for refining requirements, identifying gaps, generating scenarios, conducting impact analysis, and documenting findings.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of overall experience in IT or Business Analysis.

• At least 5 years of Business Analysis experience focused on enterprise applications or complex digital platforms.

• A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in integration analysis, API analysis, or defining technical requirements.

• At least 3 years of experience in defining functional requirements, acceptance criteria, business rules, and comprehensive process flows.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with API testing, data mapping, or integration validation using Postman, Insomnia, or similar tools.

• Proven track record of collaborating with business, development, architecture, and QA teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.

• Experience with OpenText Documentum, ECM platforms, or document integrations is highly preferred.

• Experience in the banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries is strongly preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred for candidates with banking experience.
