Business Analyst – Business Process Modeler

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee business analysis initiatives to convert business requirements and current processes into future-state workflows and implementation-ready specifications for the OneStream platform.

• Work alongside stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams to gather, document, and validate business requirements and process models.

• Conduct stakeholder workshops, storyboarding sessions, and requirements collection activities to outline user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules.

• Create and sustain BPMN business process models that align with organizational objectives and Federal standards.

• Evaluate current and future business processes, pinpoint areas for improvement, and propose solutions that utilize platform capabilities.

• Assist in the implementation, integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the VIPPS solution through comprehensive requirements and process documentation.

• Ensure that requirements and process designs adhere to Agile methodologies and are suitable for SaaS or configurable enterprise platforms.

• Record and convey business analysis results, process models, and requirements to project teams and stakeholders.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of business analysis and process modeling techniques.

• Ensure that activities are compliant with Suitability/Public Trust clearance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related discipline, or an equivalent blend of education and relevant professional experience.

• Over 7 years of pertinent experience in business analysis, requirements development, and/or business process analysis and modeling, including experience with Federal Government programs.

• Previous experience in requirements analysis and business process modeling within a Federal setting.

• Proficient in requirements elicitation, stakeholder workshops, storyboarding, journey mapping, user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and both current- and future-state process modeling.

• Proven experience in developing business process models using BPMN.

• Strong understanding of BPMN and Agile practices.

• Capability to design processes that leverage platform functionalities rather than default to a custom-development approach.

• Quick learner.

• Experience in budgeting, including commitments, obligations, and monitoring expenditures.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.

• Experience in supporting SaaS or other configurable enterprise platforms is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with Federal financial management, budgeting, PPBE, acquisition, or related financial processes is preferred but not mandatory.

• Previous experience with OneStream is advantageous but not essential.
