Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Oversee the gathering and analysis of requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions.

• Convert business needs into well-defined functional and non-functional requirements.

• Create and maintain user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, business rules, and process documentation.

• Assist with presales efforts, including RFP/RFQ analysis, clarifying scope, assumptions, risks, and dependencies.

• Collaborate with Project Managers, Tech Leads, and Solution Architects for project estimation.

• Lead Discovery phases and aid in structuring solution scope and priorities.

• Manage and prioritize requirements throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Ensure traceability of requirements and support change management processes.

• Work closely with engineering, QA, design, product, and project management teams.

• Assist with backlog refinement, release planning, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.

• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and risks in requirements and proactively address them.

• Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.

• Produce clear documentation using Jira, Confluence, and other project management tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects.

• Proficient in requirements engineering.

• Experience with stakeholder management and facilitating workshops.

• Practical knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Capable of working with ambiguous or incomplete requirements and structuring them effectively.

• Familiarity with user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, BPMN/UML, and process modeling.

• Understanding of APIs, integrations, data flows, and fundamental concepts of system architecture.

• Experience in participating in Discovery and/or presales activities.

• Ability to define project scope, assumptions, dependencies, and risks.

• Strong analytical and communication skills.

• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or higher.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of Business Analyst responsibilities.

• Experience with complex enterprise, integration-heavy, or regulated projects.

• Familiarity with preparing RFPs/RFQs.

• Experience in business process improvement and workflow automation.

• Knowledge of API/interface specifications.

• Experience in backlog and release governance.

• Familiarity with KPIs, reporting, or data-related requirements.
