Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the FSA Product Owner, government stakeholders, and the development team to comprehend business requirements.

• Convert business needs into precise and actionable requirements.

• Organize work, provide feedback on specifications, and assist in prioritizing the product backlog.

• Conduct discovery and user research utilizing Human-Centered Design methodologies.

• Aid in defining the scope of sprints.

• Support Agile Project Management, lean methodologies, adaptability, and ongoing improvement.

• Define and enhance user stories and tasks.

• Ensure that work aligns with the FSA Definition of Done.

• Assist in packaging completed stories into features ready for release.

• Facilitate change request procedures.

• Manage and document IAM change requests.

• Coordinate proofs of concept and project activities that align with FSA priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Public Trust clearance is required.

• A Bachelor's Degree is necessary.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Strong aptitude for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and user requirements.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in Agile environments (preferably Scrum or SAFe).

• Proficient in crafting clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog prioritization.

• Solid understanding of Human-Centered Design and user research methodologies.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

• High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.

• Proficient in Agile tools such as Jira or similar platforms.

• Ability to manage change requests and support project documentation.

• A team player who excels in an iterative development environment.
