This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico, +2 more states.
• Analyze workflows within the court system, operational procedures, and judicial processes to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
• Document both current and future business processes, functional requirements, and system interactions.
• Convert operational needs into actionable requirements tailored for Product and Engineering teams.
• Perform data analysis and research to support the design, configuration, and decision-making processes for solutions.
• Interact directly with customers throughout the stages of discovery, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Conduct requirements workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process review sessions with court staff.
• Provide expert consultation, subject-matter expertise, and best-practice recommendations to clients and internal teams.
• Assist with user acceptance testing, validate system configurations, and support rollout activities.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure that requirements are comprehended and accurately executed.
• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and supplementary documentation in JIRA.
• Generate process maps, requirements specifications, and training materials.
• Effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Deliver demonstrations and training for clients on the Court Case Management Application.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent level of relevant experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in court operations, case management, or judicial administration.
• Prior experience in a senior or lead Business Analyst position.
• Familiarity with judicial or government software applications.
• Proficient in JIRA or similar tools for creating user stories.
• Experience in supporting software implementations or enterprise system rollouts.
• Strong problem-solving abilities coupled with a proactive, customer-oriented approach.
• In-depth understanding of court processes, including specific terminology used in the domain.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities at once.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong skills in active listening.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.
• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; advanced skills in Excel are preferred.
• Experience with Jira, Monday, and Confluence.
• Capability to learn and effectively utilize various internal software applications.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as within a team structure.
• Capacity to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary to meet project deadlines.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection for a remote working setup.
• Must be able to remain stationary for most of the workday.
• Regularly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
