This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico, +2 more states.
• Evaluate jury management workflows, court operations, and associated judicial processes to uncover areas for enhancement.
• Record existing and future-state business processes, functional requirements, and system interactions.
• Convert operational requirements into actionable specifications for Product and Engineering teams.
• Perform data analysis and research to aid in solution design, configuration, and decision-making.
• Interact directly with clients during discovery, configuration, testing, and deployment phases.
• Organize requirements workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process review meetings with court staff.
• Offer expert advice, subject-matter expertise, and best-practice guidance to clients and internal teams.
• Assist with user acceptance testing, verify system configurations, and help with rollout tasks.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and accurately implemented.
• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation in JIRA.
• Generate process maps, requirements specifications, and training materials.
• Simplify complex ideas for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Conduct demonstrations and training sessions for clients on the Jury Application.
• Lead business analysis initiatives across multiple simultaneous projects.
• Execute additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent related experience required.
• Over 3 years of experience in court operations, jury management, or judicial administration.
• Prior experience in a senior or lead Business Analyst position.
• Familiarity with judicial or government software applications.
• Proficient in JIRA or similar tools for creating user stories.
• Experience in supporting software implementations or enterprise system rollouts.
• Thorough understanding of court and jury processes, including domain-specific terminology.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented capabilities.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities at once.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong active listening abilities.
• Capacity to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; advanced Excel skills are preferred.
• Experience with Jira, Monday, and Confluence.
• Ability to learn and effectively utilize various internal software applications.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as within a team setting.
• Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work overtime as required to meet project deadlines.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Access to reliable high-speed internet for a remote working setup.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for the majority of the day.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
• Frequent communication via telephone and Teams.
