Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Collect and document business and functional requirements.

• Create user stories and acceptance criteria within Azure DevOps.

• Decompose complex processes into manageable work items.

• Document workflows to ensure that requirements are clear and testable.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate solutions.

• Facilitate Agile delivery, including managing backlog, sprints, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Investigate and resolve data and system issues.

• Assist with Finance-related tickets and reporting requests.

• Proactively communicate quality issues regarding data collection, storage, processing, or usage to internal and external stakeholders and customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of insurance business concepts.

• Experience in requirements gathering and documentation.

• Proficient in process mapping and workflow analysis.

• Excellent communication skills for engaging with stakeholders.

• Ability to produce clear and testable requirements.

• Knowledge of General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR), and financial reporting.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and responsive to needs.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps.

• Over 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst.

• Background in supporting Finance, Accounting, or financial data.

• Must be available to work according to Central Standard Time (CST) hours (until 12 PM CST).

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication abilities.
