This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Capture and document functional and technical requirements obtained from users, stakeholders, and mission owners.
• Draft and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and related sprint artifacts.
• Generate and maintain comprehensive release notes that detail new features, enhancements, and resolved issues.
• Create and update user guides, onboarding materials, help documentation, and training resources.
• Document API specifications, request/response schemas, integration notes, and usage instructions.
• Develop workflow diagrams, process maps, and system interaction documentation.
• Assist in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sessions for clarifying requirements.
• Ensure requirement completeness through collaboration with developers, QA testers, and cybersecurity teams.
• Oversee documentation repositories, manage version control, and maintain content organization standards.
• Support UAT planning, document test cases, and assist in user acceptance execution.
• Work together with product owners, developers, testers, cybersecurity experts, and cloud engineers to translate requirements into actionable deliverables.
• Must possess an active Secret clearance, backed by a Tier 3 background investigation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Writer, or in a similar documentation role.
• Proven experience in documenting requirements, workflows, user stories, and system specifications.
• Proficient in creating user guides, release notes, and API documentation.
• Experience in supporting Agile software development processes.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of requirements analysis, documentation methodologies, and Agile delivery practices.
• Capable of producing clear, structured, and technically precise documentation.
• Familiar with API concepts and integration documentation.
• Excellent writing, communication, and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to convert complex technical information into clear, comprehensible documentation.
