Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Assist with Operational Oversight and Compliance efforts through operational reporting, data analysis, process management, and Excel-based reporting.

• Concentrate on TennCare Employment, Community First CHOICES (ECF CHOICES), and Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS).

• Monitor data for adherence to timeliness and compliance standards.

• Support external audits.

• Identify and explore potential issues.

• Analyze data and trends.

• Suggest process enhancements and aid in solution development.

• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders on compliance initiatives, audit assessments, reporting, and operational enhancements.

• Ensure tasks are completed accurately and within set deadlines.

• Design, develop, evaluate, and implement organizational management projects, policies, and procedures.

• Identify business process improvement projects and recommend efficiencies to management.

• Conduct cost/benefit analyses of external and internal resources.

• Analyze business requirements and production specifications to enhance management operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is required.

• Equivalent experience is defined as four years of professional work in a corporate setting.

• Three years of technical or operational experience is required.

• Proficiency in database reporting using Access, Cognos, and data warehouse technologies.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).

• Strong analytical, decision-making, organizational, and time-management abilities.

• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision or collaborate effectively in a team environment.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal abilities.

• Residency in the State of Tennessee is required.

• Available to work either 6:45 AM–3:15 PM CST or 7:00 AM–3:30 PM CST.

• Previous experience in a team lead role is highly preferred.

• Professional conduct and auditing credentials are preferred.

• Experience with ECF CHOICES/LTSS is preferred.
