This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico, +2 more states.
• Analyze workflows, operations, and judicial processes within the court system to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
• Document both current and future business processes, functional requirements, and system interactions.
• Convert operational needs into clear, actionable requirements for the Product and Engineering teams.
• Conduct data analysis and research to bolster solution design, configuration, and decision-making.
• Engage directly with clients throughout the phases of discovery, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Facilitate workshops for requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, and review sessions with court staff.
• Offer expert advice, subject-matter expertise, and best-practice recommendations to both clients and internal teams.
• Assist with user acceptance testing, validate system configurations, and support rollout activities.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure that requirements are clearly understood and accurately implemented.
• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and relevant documentation within JIRA.
• Develop process maps, requirements specifications, and training resources.
• Convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Provide demonstrations and training for clients on the Court Case Management Application.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent amount of relevant experience is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in court operations, case management, or judicial administration.
• Prior experience in a senior or lead Business Analyst position is necessary.
• Familiarity with judicial or government software applications is required.
• Proficient in JIRA or similar tools for creating user stories.
• Experience in supporting software implementations or enterprise system rollouts is essential.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, customer-centric mindset are required.
• In-depth knowledge of court processes, including terminology specific to the domain.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities at once.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
• Strong active listening abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills preferred.
• Familiarity with Jira, Monday, and Confluence.
• Capability to learn and efficiently use various internal software applications.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within a team framework.
• Capacity to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• A reliable high-speed internet connection is required for remote work.
• An at-home noise level that is typically moderate.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a majority of the day.
• Frequently operate a computer and other office productivity equipment.
• Regular communication through telephone and Teams is expected.
