Bulgarian Interpretation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Georgia.

📋 Description

• Respond to calls in a professional manner, adhering to the Interpreter's code of ethics.

• Always be prepared to take notes during calls.

• Familiarize yourself with the specific vocabulary relevant to the industry in which you are interpreting, particularly in healthcare and medical contexts.

• Convey all messages accurately and completely, without any additions, omissions, or substitutions.

• Deliver the highest standard of customer service during interpretation sessions.

• Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients by providing precise and complete interpretations of the messages.

• Implement standards of practice consistently.

• Participate in internal professional training programs.

• Show enthusiasm for obtaining new professional certifications.

• Maintain communication with and report to your team leader.

• Adhere to dress code requirements for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (English) and a native speaker of the target language "Georgian".

• At least 1 year of experience in telephone interpretation with a reputable interpretation company.

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with legal terminology is an advantage.

• Possession of international certifications in the healthcare field is a plus (e.g., PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA).

• High school diploma in your native language.

• High emotional intelligence and adaptability to diverse cultures.

• Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention abilities.
