Building Inspector – Early Career

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify and cultivate the next generation of professionals in Construction Code.

• Complete scheduled tasks between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

• Carry out daily responsibilities with care and safety, while respecting private and personal property.

• Maintain communication with the manager and designated mentor.

• Engage in professional growth through additional ICC certifications, training opportunities, and studying relevant codes and standards.

• Collaborate daily with an experienced professional inspector mentor.

• Allocate time to understand the industry and prepare for ICC certification examinations.

• Enhance skills in thorough inspections, detailed reporting, time management, and problem-solving.

• Participate in evaluations after three months and upon completion of the Residential Combination Inspector certification.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• No prior experience is necessary.

• Must obtain Residential Building Inspector certification within the first three months of employment.

• Must secure Residential Combination Inspector certification within the subsequent six months.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficiency in using work-related technology, including laptops, tablets, and iPhones.

• Capability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and similar applications.

• Ability to follow instructions accurately.

• Professional appearance, demeanor, and conduct.

• Self-discipline and ability to work independently without direct supervision.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to function effectively as part of a team.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Positive attitude towards the company and its clients.

• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships.

• Must hold a valid Georgia driver's license.
