Building Infrastructure Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee medium to large-scale, full-lifecycle turnkey projects.

• Manage financial reporting, budget control, operational efficiency, problem resolution, and adherence to tight deadlines.

• Create proposals and oversee resources, project budgets, forecasts, timelines, and project closure activities.

• Design and maintain comprehensive traditional project schedules and work plans.

• Estimate budget proposals based on the defined scope of work and resource needs.

• Communicate project strategies, necessary adjustments, and completion estimates to stakeholders.

• Establish and nurture robust relationships with federal clients.

• Monitor and assess construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality and safety standards.

• Supervise project engineers, assistant project managers, superintendents, safety and quality control staff, foremen, field teams, subcontractors, and specialty vendors, either directly or indirectly.

• Perform site visits for inspections, installation and startup activities, client meetings, and to evaluate project progress and compliance.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of seven to ten years of project management experience leading the complete lifecycle of medium to large complex multi-year projects within the Federal building-envelope domain.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management from an ABET-accredited institution.

• Experience in Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) Management.

• Advanced skills in MS Project and/or Primavera P6.

• Knowledge of commercial/industrial infrastructure design, engineering, manufacturing, and construction processes.

• Proficiency in managing Electrical, Mechanical, and building-envelope construction projects.

• Strong grasp of construction safety protocols and fall-protection requirements.

• A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

• Capable of passing background checks, drug screenings, and site access criteria.

• Willingness to travel and work at federal, military, correctional, industrial, and other controlled-access facilities.

• Excellent communication skills for professional interaction with government officials, commercial clients, subcontractors, field personnel, and executive management.

• Ability to juggle multiple ongoing projects across various geographical locations.

• Access to federal work sites and eligibility for necessary background checks.

• Preferred: PMP, CCM, or CPC certification.

• Preferred: Understanding and hands-on experience with roofing installation techniques and industry standards.

• Preferred: Experience in managing building-envelope repairs, restorations, and roof replacements.

• Preferred: Civil infrastructure experience, particularly with underground utilities and structural foundations.

• Preferred: Background in Electrical and HVAC building infrastructure.

• Preferred: OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification.

• Preferred: Knowledge of bonding, security clearances, Buy American compliance, or sourcing domestic materials.

• Preferred: Familiarity with estimation software and tools.

• Preferred: Convenient access to a major airport.

• Capability to visit active construction sites and access rooftop work areas.

• Physical ability to climb ladders and stairs and traverse uneven or elevated surfaces.

• Capability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and inspect work for prolonged periods.

• Willingness to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.

• Ability to wear necessary personal protective equipment and fall-protection gear.

• Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds when required.

• Willingness to travel by car and commercial airline.
