Budget Setup Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Evaluate clinical trial contracts, study budgets, and payment terms, translating them into precise financial configurations.

• Establish and oversee information related to visits, procedures, start-ups, administration, and patient payments.

• Conduct quality assessments and reconcile financial data with contracts, budgets, and protocols.

• Detect and address discrepancies, incomplete information, and data quality concerns.

• Process contract amendments and budget modifications, ensuring updates are accurately executed and recorded.

• Collaborate closely with Finance, Contracting, Clinical Operations, and Site Operations to clarify requirements and resolve issues.

• Manage multiple studies, deadlines, and priorities while ensuring precise documentation and adherence to relevant procedures.

• Contribute to financial processes that support global clinical trials.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in clinical research or clinical trials is essential.

• 1–2 years of experience in clinical trial operations, budget or contract setup, financial administration, or a similar data-intensive role.

• A degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.

• Strong understanding of clinical trial contracts, study budgets, payment terms, and invoicing processes.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

• Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, along with a strong sense of ownership.

• Proficient Excel and data management skills.

• Proficient command of English (B2 or higher).

• Familiarity with clinical trial or financial systems is advantageous.

• Knowledge of ICH GCP and GDPR regulations is a plus.

• Resume submitted in English is required.
